Indie Scenesters
I have chosen to base my magazine around the tribe of the ‘Indie Scenesters’ (found on Uk Tribes) who have a very distinctive music taste and also a very distinctive look. They love to be ahead of the times in discovering new music and they certainly love their skinny jeans. A decade ago, they could have been passed off as ‘Clubbers’ and a couple of years back, Indie Scenesters were listening to bands like ‘The Klaxons’. They exist to the fashionable status of the electric guitar and its music and are also linked to general of instant fashionability. They tend to shop in places like Topman and the online store Urban Outfitters and the clothes bought are usually skinny jeans, polo shirts and converse, cardigans jumpers and hoodies. They also tend to stream music from places like Last Fm which covers some of their heavy internet browsing time. Their T.V intake is much less than their cinema intake, but a lot less than their internet intake.
