Planning my College Magazine
For my college magazine, I planned my front cover in a number of different stages. First of all, we each wrote down three important questions that we though were key for a questionnaire. The class then shared their ideas and wrote down all of the most important questions neatly to produce a questionnaire for the students. We then went around college and outside of college, handing out the questions to people in our age group to see what they wanted from a college magazine. My results came back to show that most people would prefer: Band news, College life, Horoscopes and Celebrity gossip in the magazine. I then drew out a plan for my magazine cover and started to experiment with photoshop to see what gave me the best results. Also, I analysed an existing college magazine cover which helped me to understand more about how i would present my cover.
